Well its Anzac day which means watching my gorgeous husband march in the dawn service and a day off, which gives me the opportunity to catch up on some April challenges.
Here is this first on many to come.. Scrapping Outback 1,2,3,4 Challenge!
Simply create a layout with –Â
1 of something
2 of something else
3 of something else again
and 4 of something else again……
See, its as easy as 1,2,3………………..4 🙂
Here is my layout featuring my beautiful niece, Ellie.
I used:
1 – chipboard frame
2 – wooden embellishments
3 – colours: brown, pink and aqua
4 – funky buttons
What a fun challenge, highly recommend it!!

Happy Easter everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
I was lucky enough to be taken through the amazing Margaret River region by my gorgeous husband, and he even brought us back early so I could have some craft time, now that is love!
This week I finally tackled a D-lish Scraps Challenge.
Here is the April Inspiration Board – Tangerine Splash.
And here is my take on the sketch/mood board
Yet again, my gorgeous nephew is featured but this photo matched the papers perfectly.

Another month, which means more challenges which I LOVE!!
This is the Black with 2 challenge mood board for April.
And here is my take on the challenge
This was a fun challenge as I got to use some papers that I would never have put together, but so happy with the result.

Here is my other page created this weekend for Kaisercrafts Saturday sketch challenge.
Here is the sketch.
And here is my page
I am so in love with this page. I used the ‘Secret Admirer’ collection, along with dylusion spray, some bling and a crochet which I made. Love creating my own background using templates and inks.. so messy and fun.
Hope you like. Have a great week 🙂

Afternoon all, have finally managed to catch up on the last 2 Kaisercraft Saturday sketches over this yucky weekend in Perth, which is always perfect craft weather.
Here is last weeks Sketch.
And for my take this week, I have finally got to use ‘Lavendar Haze’ papers and collectables which are just gorgeous.
I used a combination of Dylusions spray, Kaisercraft blooms and rhinestones to add dimension to the page.
Its very out of my comfort zone as I’m normally a straight edges person, but I’m so proud with the end result.
Another page incoming!

Another weekend is here, which means another sketch challenge to complete. Missed last weekends Kaisercraft Saturday sketch, so I am playing catch up this week :).
Here is the sketch.
As soon as I saw this layout, I knew i had to use the ‘Technologic’ Range as its my all time favourite!!
Here is my take on the sketch.
I added some bling, string and Dylusions Ink Spray to add some dimension to this page. Really happy with it 🙂
Until next time.

Have found a new favourite blog the past few weeks. It is called Black with Two. I love that their challenges are based on a black background with 2 colours of their choice. It gets me out of my comfort zone to create something unique every month.
Here is this month’s sketch and mood board.
And here is my take on the challenge
Found this one a challenge as I really dont have alot of yellow in my stash, but I had bought the Jillibean Soup – Coconut Lime Soup collection from Crafty Divas before I left Darwin and I knew I had to use the ‘Coconut Milk’ paper.
I added some tiny buttons, some of my handmade flowers, ribbons and glitter glue to finish off the page.

Morning All, another perfect day in Sunny Perth today which means great sunlight for scrapping 🙂 Today I am trying to catch up on sketch challenges. Here is the first page I have created for Kaisercraft’s Saturday Sketch Challenge.
Here is the sketch
And here is my take on the sketch
I have used the Kaisercraft ‘Skull Boi’ collection along with some washi tape, rubons and bling from my stash. I love that I could use a wedding photo, but still make it masculine, which is always a challenge for me as I just want to over embellish it.
